Amersham Town Football Club - Floodlights Appeal

Amersham Town FC have proudly represented the town of Amersham for more than 130 years. All connected with the club: Players, Management, Committee & helpers are all volunteers, giving their time and support freely. The club survives on very little financial turnover! We now need to upgrade our floodlights to more modern, environmentally and ecologically friendly, low consumption and low spill LED lights, to conform to current Football Association Standards. The cost to replace the floodlights is £55,101! We have secured a grant from the Football Foundation to cover £37,363 of this cost, but we need to raise £17,738 as a contribution from the club in order that we may meet the new standards and continue the tradition of playing football at Spratleys Meadow, Amersham, as we have done since 1890.
