Ame's Journey to Recovery: Mending Bones and Healing Hearts

Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and community members, we come together to rally around a remarkable woman, Ame Warner, who has faced unimaginable challenges in recent weeks. Just 7 weeks after enduring the heart-wrenching loss of her beloved son, Alex, Ame experienced a significant accident while on a trail ride with her dear friend, Liza. Ame was bucked off her horse, landing hard and flat on her back, resulting in multiple traumatic spinal injuries. Imaging done in the ER revealed 13 fractured thoracic spinous processes and 3 fractured lumbar vertebrae, including a burst fracture of her L-4, requiring a grueling 6-hour spinal surgery and a week in the hospital. Moving forward, PT, OT and ongoing medical treatment will be needed, to get her back on her feet.

Ame is self-employed and works with numerous community organizations in the San Luis valley to better the lives of it's residents. As such, she does not have medical, sick leave, or disability benefits to fall back on, outside of very basic health insurance, and while she is unable to work, financial support for her quickly rising medical bills will be crucial to getting her back in the saddle. (Pun intended)

In times of adversity, it is the strength of family, friendships, and community that provides comfort and care. We invite you to join us in offering Ame the support and assistance she needs. Your generous contributions will go directly towards alleviating the financial burden of medical expenses and providing Ame with the necessary resources to facilitate her recovery process.

Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in Ame's journey towards healing and restoration. Together, we'll stand beside her as she courageously navigates this challenging chapter of her life.

Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and unwavering support.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Andelyn Czajka (Ame's Daughter)

P.s. My mom is one of the most resilient, hard working, generous individuals I've ever known, and she has been through the ringer these past almost 8 weeks. She is a very strong and independent woman and it is very hard for her to ask for help, so I am asking for her. This accident could not have come at a worse time, as we are still navigating the loss of my brother and trying to settle his affairs, and she could really use the financial help to get her through what we know is going to be a very big financial burden. We are all still trying to heal, emotionally, and now she is also trying to find a way to heal physically. Having to worry about medical bills and a loss of income on top of everything else she has been through is really the last thing she needed right now, so I'm really hoping her friends, family and community can rally around her and give her the support she really needs.

Even if you are unable to donate, just sharing this fundraiser will go a long way to helping us help her.
