Ame's Recovery Fund

Hi everyone!

I'm putting this fundraiser together for Ame and her family.

Ame received brain aneurysm surgery on 11/8/23 and will be recovering for the next 6 weeks. A brain aneurysm, also called a cerebral aneurysm, is a bulge in a weak area of an artery in or around your brain. Ame applied for help from The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) a labor law requiring employers of a certain size to provide employees with unpaid time off for serious family health issues or situations. Unfortunately, as of now she will not be receiving FMLA which means she has no way to contribute to her family's monthly bills over her 6-week recovery. This includes rent and care for their daughter Laila on top of other bills. It would be greatly appreciated if you could donate or even just share so we can help keep this precious family afloat while Ame is recovering!
