የተወደዳችሁ ወገኖች የጌታ ሰላም ይሁንላችሁ፤ ይብዛላችሁም። ዘላለም መንግሥቱ እባላለሁ። የአማርኛ መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ መዝገበ ቃላት በመሥራት ላለፉት ብዙ ዓመታት ቆይቻለሁ። በጌታ ቸርነት ከ23 ዓመታት በኋላ ባለፈው ወር ተጠናቅቋል። እግዚአብሔር ይመስገን።

Hello friends. May the peace of Christ be on you. My name is Zelalem Mengistu. I have been working on the Amharic Bible Dictionary (ABD). The last few years were entirely dedicated to this prodigious work. It came to completion last month (June 2023) after 23 years. Praise God.

ይህ መዝገበ ቃላት ወደ 1350 ገጾችና ከ4ሺህ 800 ቃላት በላይ የያዘ፥ ለእያንዳንዱ ቃል ከምንጭ ቋንቋዎች አቻ ቃላትን፥ ትርጕምና ዝርዝር መፍቻ፥ እንዲሁም በቂ የመጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ጥቅሶችን ያካተተ ነው። ይህ ሥራ በተጠቃሚዎች ሁሉ፥ በተለይም በክርስቲያኖችና በአገልጋዮች እጅ ትልቅ እሴት የሚሆን መጽሐፍ ነው።

The ABD is a 1400 pages work with over 4800 entries complete with source language equivalents, meanings and extensive definitions as well as ample Bible verse references. This work would be an asset in the hands of all users; especially Christians and ministers.

በኢትዮጵያ ይህን ሥራ ለማሳተም የእናንተ እርዳታ አስፈልጎኛል፤ ለጋስ እጃችሁንና ቸርነታችሁን እጠይቃለሁ። እግዚአብሔር ይባርካችሁ፤ ለበረከትም ያድርጋችሁ።
