Amherst Small Business Relief Fund

The brothers of Alpha Sigma Phi at University of Massachusetts Amherst have organized a fundraiser in hopes of providing immediate relief to local businesses hurt by the COVID-19 pandemic. Many local businesses in Amherst rely on the student body from the nearby colleges and are struggling to operate or even provide food to their own families as a result of the recent quarantine measures put in place. With the stimulus bill still in progress, it will take weeks to months for many businesses to receive crucial funding that they need now.  This fundraiser intends to bridge that gap and provide both local businesses and the families behind them with the resources necessary to sustain themselves during this time. Funding will be distributed based on need with preference given to those with urgent circumstances (e.g., providing for children). #supportlocalbusiness
