Mohammed and Omar are friends from high school, we weren’t that close to each other actually. We didn't talk that much in school, just “Hi”. The story began when we were forced to evacuate to the south leaving our homes, after Mohammed’s home got completely burned in the fire, he found himself with his family in Strange's home where they took shelter in Deir Al-Ballah. Meanwhile, Omar and his family had to evacuate to the middle area. The problem was that Omar’s brother was taking a medicine that must be kept at a cool temperature. Omar’s family found people who got funded with solar cells, they used to provide them with ice for the medicine. Unfortunately, they were forced to evacuate again for the second time. It was a miserable situation for them to evacuate, but it wasn’t the evacuation as much as it was securing the ice for the medicine that made them scared to evacuate that time. When Omar arrived at Deir Al-Ballah he was going everywhere searching for someone who could provide him with ice or a fridge to keep the medicine in a cool temperature. That’s when he decided to call Mohammed hoping he could help him. Fortunately, the place Mohammed evacuated to had solar cells, where he could help Omar with his misery. Since then Omar and Mohammed used to spend most of their days together. They started their mini business together to cover their family expenses and help themselves in the war. Mohammed’s family (Father, mother, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters) and Omar’s family (Mother, 2 brothers) used to live in their homes in peace. Mohammed and Omar graduated from high school with outstanding scale, Mohammed continued to study Engineering and Omar majored in Business Administration. In order to save their families from the genocide they made an Instagram page documenting their daily life in war, and sharing their business. They wish to save their families and continue their higher education out of Gaza. In order to escape Gaza this costs 5,000$ for each person. This goal is for the two families to escape the War and rebuild their lives, and pursue their higher education out of here. Consider donating to help those talented young boys to make their dreams come true again.
