Amie James’ Medical Expenses

I’m reaching out to you today on behalf of our dear friend, Amie James. Since 2014, Amie has been on a challenging journey battling chronic pain. Despite seeing several specialists, numerous surgeries, including arthroscopies and hip replacements on both sides, and countless therapies, the pain persists, gradually eroding her strength and mobility. Trust me, she hides it well.

Amie has always been a beacon of selflessness, dedicating herself to helping others through her charity work and past running events. However, now she’s facing a daunting challenge herself. Despite her reluctance to seek assistance, she needs our support more than ever.

Recently, a specialist recommended seeking help from institutions like the Mayo clinic or large teaching hospitals equipped to handle complex cases like hers. This has become Amie’s goal, but the financial burden of medical expenses, out-of-state travel, lodging, and other associated costs is overwhelming.
