Amir & Emad's Amsterdam Marathon

As some of you may know, Amir and Emad have crazily decided to run the Amsterdam Marathon on Sunday 15th October! Whilst initially Emad was tagging along to make sure Amir actually finished, they decided they will now be doing so for a good cause, not just Amir's waistline!
They will be running the marathon for The MediOliver Foundation, a charity Emad and his family set up in his cousin Medi's memory. The MediOliver Foundation is dedicated to helping the communities of Medi’s pen-pals in Ethiopia, working on a water pipeline that will secure water for the first time to thousands in the Gey-Talt region!
It will be Amir's and Emad's first, and likely their last (!), marathon attempt, so every contribution will be truly welcomed!

Medi Oliver Mehra’s life was tragically cut short at the age of 11, in a freak accident. This charity is dedicated to helping the communities of Medi’s pen-pals in Ethiopia, something his parents had promised Medi they would do together. Medi was lucky enough to have had many experiences, yet was aware of the millions of children without any opportunities. He enjoyed fundraising for Great Ormond Street, going on fun runs, walking for Wateraid, and regularly donating his presents to good causes. We have already raised over £150,000 from multiple events that many people have kindly supported. We invite you to continue supporting us by joining us and changing lives; it starts with water.
