Amit's Road to Recovery

Last Saturday, May 15, Amit Netanel got into a very serious jet ski accident and was airlifted to a hospital with a Level 1 trauma center in Dayton, Ohio. While we are so lucky that he is alive, the accident left him with a fractured neck, damaged spinal cord, and severe nerve damage to his arms. Amit is now in stable condition in the ICU and we are very positive about the future, but we know it will be a very long road of treatment and rehabilitation

Amit is not only a loving husband to Deborah Netanel, father to Bernard, brother, uncle, son, and friend, but he's a second-grade teacher who is absolutely beloved by his students and colleagues. He is devoted to his students and his family, always full of life and excited to joke, sing, and dance. The medical and rehab expenses for an accident like this are astronomical, and the loss of work and cost of care will take a serious toll on our family. Any support you can give, any at all, to get Amit back up and dancing again would mean the world!
