Haiti Clinic - Fonde Baptiste

We are raising money for GLOW Haiti to finish building the structure for a clinic in Fonde Baptiste, Haiti. Fonde Baptiste is located deep in the rural Chain Matthew Mountains. The property on which the building is being built supports a church with nearly 400 members and a primary and secondary school with and average daily enrollment of 1,200 students. There is currently no other medical facilities in the area. People seeking medical attention must walk, be carried or ride donkeys for 5 or 6 hours to reach the nearest clinic facilities. Once this clinic is in operation it will not only serve to greatly improve the health of the local community but will also serve as a teaching facility, a branch of the secondary school (high school equivalent), supporting those who have the desire and aptitude to continue in the medical disciplines.
