Help Amori Attend Graduation & See Her Brother

My name is Amori Strong. I am a graduating senior at the University of Nebraska. In 2018, due to many ongoing issues, I had to relocate out-of-state to access a broader network of service providers. In the midst of the mounting challenges and disappointments during this time, I stayed enrolled at the UNL and finished my remaining two semesters online.

On August 17, I have the chance to roll across the stage in my wheelchair to accept my bachelor’s degree in Psychology in person. Unfortunately, having a disability and limited financial means the extra costs for travel back to Nebraska will be hard to cover.

I’m making this GoFundMe in hopes of raising enough funds to fly myself and one family member to Nebraska in August so I can attend graduation and enjoy the big accomplishment with my brother, who I haven’t seen in 5 years. (He just graduated in May, and I couldn’t make it to his graduation at that time.) I’m estimating $700 for roundtrip airfare, $300 for accessible van rental and $200-300 for an Airbnb or Hotel for three nights. The ceremony is August 17th, but I must notify the school by August 2nd
