♥️ & Hope for Caroline

Donation protected
Back in November, my great friend Caroline Studenko’s life changed dramaticaly in the blink of an eye, with no forewarning.  She went into the hospital thinking she was dealing with a knee fracture and hasn’t left the hospital since she was admitted on Black Friday/Thanksgiving weekend 2018.  Caroline had developed a bacterial infection that lead doctors to need to amputate her leg to save her life.  She has endured 35+ surgeries since she has been in the hospital.  Complicating matters, Caroline is still struggling to use her hands and needs a great deal of physical therapy.

Her beautiful boys Mack (Forrestdale/5th grade) and Drew (Deane Porter/2nd grade) have been her driving force for survival and strength and her mom Rita, her rock.  The boys are so fortunate to have a wonderful father in Anthony as well as their two amazing grandmothers to help while Caroline has been in the hospital.  However, not having your mom present in a household for over 4 months inevitably makes an impact on a child’s life.  Caroline is working hard through her rigorous physical therapy as she can’t wait to return home.

She is in need of a prosthetic for her leg to return back to as much of a normal life as possible.  This fund has been established so we can help  with the expense of the prosthetic and will go directly to the purchase of one for Caroline. If you would like to assist with this financial burden, any donation would be greatly appreciated.

Please feel free to pass along and thank you so much in advance for your support.
