I'm Enas Amara, a fourth-year dental student, and I'm reaching out with a heavy heart. Since October 7th, my family and I have been displaced from our home in Gaza. Our journey took us to the Nuseirat camp, where tragedy struck on December 17th. Our house was bombed, and we lost everything – including our dear friends. While my family survived, we sustained injuries that have scattered us across different hospitals. My mother is in Egypt for treatment, my father and brother are in the European Hospital in Khan Yunis, and I find myself in Rafah, far from my loved ones, with burns and fractures in my feet. We've lost not just our home, but our livelihoods too – our jobs, our car, everything. My mother needs an operation on her feet as soon as possible, and my father also has an injury to his spine. I want to complete my dream of becoming a dentist, and my brother also has a dream of studying engineering! But everything we owned was bombed!
