AMSA Fundraising Campaign - 2024

As a nonprofit organization, we are looking for your donation to help us provide educational scholarships to deserving students from underprivileged and low income families.

Since 2011, the Association of Mongolian Students in America has been organizing the “Best University Opportunity Program - BUOP” to reach and share our success stories with students in Mongolia. We are aware of how some people think only the wealthy go to the U.S for college, and we do not deny it as a misconception, either. This is why we are doing this fundraising campaign: to raise funds, helping underprivileged children fulfill their dreams and study at top universities in the US. Your support will help us lower the price of the tax to host more inclusive events open to the general public.

So, what can we do with your help?

1$ - One dollar of your investment not only helps in our administration costs, but also gives us the moral boost that our partners and alumni are with us!

5$ - One student is provided lunch during the "Best University Opportunity Program (BUOP)" event in Mongolia.

10$ - A teacher's hourly salary is covered for the BUOP event in Mongolia.

20$ - Partial scholarship to one student participating in BUOP: 25% of their total costs are covered.

70$ - One teacher's salary is covered for the whole duration of BUOP.

100$ - One student receive 100% scholarship (and cover other expenses) to attend BUOP!

There are many students who are not able to be a part of our program because of their financial difficulties, so we sincerely ask for your cooperation and support in making this possible for the Mongolian youth.
