We are devastated to share that on February 17th, tragedy struck our family. We lost our mom, Amy. While recovering at home from a recent back surgery, a fire broke out in the bedroom area of her home. Our mom, who loved her three cats Tucker, Jake, and Boo Boo almost as much as she loved her children and grandchildren, went in search of them. She was rescued by firefighters in dire condition and later succumbed to her injuries. We are shocked, heartbroken, and struggling to make sense of it all.

Kevin Harris, her husband of 23 years, survived the fire. While he grieves the loss of his wife, he is also coming to terms with the devastation of their home and the loss of all their possessions, including their three cats.

As we search for peace and comfort, our hearts are set on supporting Kevin through this time of immense loss. We want to ensure that he has what he needs in the coming weeks, months, and years.
