Amy Burton Fisher Memorial Skate Park

Hello my name is Deann Kump. I am wanting to establish a Skate Park in memory of Amy for her son Aiden! Her passing has left everyone saddened, but Amy has left a very positive impact on anyone that she crossed paths with. One of Aiden’s favorite hobbies quickly turned into some of the best memories he had with his mother. Amy spent her life focusing on Aiden and watching him grow. The bond they had is everlasting. With her sudden passing, I thought a memorial skate park would be not only a beneficial addition to our community, but a place folks could come and experience the same memories Amy had with her son. Aiden can do what he loves while remembering the moments they had together. Amy had an enormous impact and dedication to our community, her family, friends, co-workers, students and anyone needing that ever needed help. If you were looking for prayer or a positive message, Amy was your person.

We believe the Sports Complex located in Dinwiddie County Va would be the perfect location. They have a schedule of open hours, amazing staff members, lighting, restrooms and concessions right on site. Children and adults enjoy skateboarding and this could be a wonderful way to get more folks outside creating the same memories. We have folks willing to help us design and put this plan into a reality. Let’s pull together as a community and get this memorial built for not only Amy and her son, but for other children and adults to enjoy. We would love to add a few basketball hoops, memorial bench and some beautiful landscaping to enhance the area! We need your help! Thank you for sharing and/or donating!
