Welcome to Amy Costanzo's Angel Team-

As a member of Amy's Angel Team we want to offer the most current information of Amy's Stage 3C Ovarian Cancer journey.

On Nov 14, 2023, during a surgical procedure, doctor's discovered that Amy had cancer, her procedure was ended and the next day she was seen by a Gynecological Oncologist. The next several weeks were filled with tears, recovery from surgery, doctor appointments, P.E.T. scans, pre-op tests and caring for Amy and her two children.

On Dec 5, 2023 Amy underwent a "Debulking Surgery", which included removal of all female reproductive organs and her omentum layer to remove her cancer. After surgery, Amy was in the hospital for five days being monitored by her medical team. Since surgery, Amy has been recovering comfortably at home with her family.

Next, on Dec 20, 2023 Amy met with her Oncologist for the results of the pathology and next steps in her care plan. She was diagnosed with Stage 3C Ovarian Cancer. The doctor's shared that the cancer had been removed but Amy will undergo numerous rounds of chemotherapy as next steps in her care plan.

Amy was self-employed prior to her diagnosis with no ability to collect unemployment or take a family medical leave. As a family, we are supporting Amy and her children with love, care and daily needs but this will be a long journey for Amy. She will need a team of Angels to support her with love, strength, hope along with her daily financial needs.

We know that times are difficult for everyone, our go fund me goal is being used to allow Amy to focus on her treatments and healing and to help care for her and her two children.
