Amy Foxworthy has a beautiful soul. Always in a great positive space. Always looking to help others or pick their spirits up when they feel down. She is one of the few people I know that would genuinely give you the clothes off her back if you needed them.
She uprooted and moved into her parent's home several months ago to become their in-home caregiver. It began with just assisting her Mother with her father's care needs as he became terminally ill and the load was too much for her Mother to bear independently. Shortly after taking on that challenge of taking care of 'Dad'; 'Mom' got diagnosed with cancer; having both Tumors on her brain and two masses on her left lung. Her Mom is too weak to do the chemotherapy and is going to try to have the masses removed. There is a low success rate for this treatment method but there is no other alternative. Her life expectancy at this point is very low. Her cancer is currently Stage 4.
'Dad' just passed away on 8/10/23 after being in home hospice. 'Mom' can no longer tolerate radiation therapy is on hospice now. Amy's daughter Lucy just graduated with honors from Plainfield High School. She has big college plans and will be moving into her dorm room at Indiana University Bloomington. Amy and family just can't catch a break.
We are expecting Amy to miss a lot of time from work taking care of her parents and daughter Lucy. The funds will be used to offset daily living expenses as well as funeral costs. Anything would be a blessing. Thank you so much in advance for assisting with this effort.
