Amy Mathews Medical Needs

This fundraiser is for my sweet friend Amy Mathews. Amy is currently getting ready for her third back surgery. (Severe spinal stenosis and fusion on April 21st) This surgery will require her to be out of work for 10 weeks, and although she has medical insurance and she will receive some partial pay through short term disability she will need to cover her out of pocket, and many financial obligations while out of work. As well as continue to pay her insurance premiums. A little history on Amy. She is a single mom, 2 time breast cancer survivor, and one of the sweetest individuals you could ever be lucky enough to meet. UPDATE FROM AMY:

I was in the hospital for 4 nights and then moved to a BS&W rehabilitation center receiving 3 hours of OT & PT daily.

I’m being evaluated daily, as of right now the plan is to be discharged on May 9th ( subject to change)
