Amy Payne with her cancer treatment

Hello my name is Holly and I am raising funds to help one of my long time best friends, Amy Payne, with the financial burden that comes with a cancer diagnosis. As many of you know, Amy was recently diagnosed with colon cancer that had spread to her rectum. She recently underwent an extensive surgery to remove the tumor and will be starting 6 months of chemotherapy this week. While most of us are feeling nervous about our little ones starting school this week Amy has had to figure out how she will juggle teaching and her first round of chemotherapy without missing a beat! Amy is a devoted elementary school teacher at Moyock Elementary and even with all the stress that has come with this cancer diagnosis she has continued to fight to be able to teach while simultaneously receiving treatment. Let’s take this opportunity to take some of the burden off of Amy so she can focus on becoming cancer free and not how she will come up with the money to sit for each of her chemotherapy appointments. ❤️
