Amy Pinkerton & Tribe Coffeehouse
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Meggan, I am the manager at Tribe Coffeehouse in Arroyo Grande. I am creating this go fund me for my boss Amy Pinkerton. Amy had a rough start to the new year, undergoing an emergency surgery. During this unexpected surgery, Amy had pieces of multiple vital organs removed (intestine, colon, appendix, right fallopian tube & ovary). She is also now battling E. Coli, a secondary infection, and an alarmingly high white blood cell count. It is unknown how long Amy will be in the hospital or how long her recovery will take.
I have known Amy for the last 4 years, and during this time she has become a mother figure to me. Amy is one of the most caring, genuine, generous, creative, thoughtful (I could go on forever) people that I have the privilege of knowing. She has put her heart and soul into Tribe Coffeehouse. There is a piece of her in every tiny spot you look at in the shop. I know that Amy would be the first person to ask for help for a loved one but never for herself so I have taken it upon myself to reach out to the community and ask for any kind of donation and support during this time. Medical bills are insanely expensive and on top of everything else that is going on, it is the last thing I want Amy to have to worry about. Amy has taken such good care of our community and those who come into Tribe and I would love to see us rally together to show her the same love back. Let’s get Amy healthy & strong again and keep Tribe Coffeehouse thriving! Anything helps. Lots of love and appreciation, and I can’t wait to serve you up a delicious latte!
