Amy Schulte’s medical expenses

Hi, I’m Danielle and friends with two very special people, Amy and Todd Schulte. Amy’s journey began about 3 years ago after a viral infection left her with many neurological deficits and severe pain. Her condition has become debilitating. She pushed herself to work for sometime, but it became impossible to even get through a couple hours. Amy has not been able to work for approximately two years. Not only can she not work, most days she is so sick, she cannot get out of bed causing her to miss so much family time. She and Todd have amassed many medical bills in addition to many travel expenses. Amy has been under the care of multiple specialists, including neurologists and neurosurgeons, which are all out of town. In addition to follow up appointments, she is traveling to Columbus three times weekly for specialized therapy. She underwent major surgery six months ago in the hopes for some relief. She unfortunately needs to undergo another major surgery which will leave her with more neurological deficits but will hopefully ease her severe pain.
