Amy Senger - Tracheal Resection Surgery #AirForAmy

Donation protected
For the past three+ years Amy has been battling a rare condition known as, “Idiopathic Tracheal Stenosis.”  Idiopathic Tracheal Stenosis is a condition where random scar tissue continually grows, building up on the walls of her windpipe, slowly closing her trachea, preventing her from taking in the appropriate amount of air needed to survive. If the condition continues without treatment, it will eventually completely block her airflow.

Amy is scheduled to have life changing tracheal resection surgery to permanently remove the scar tissue in July at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.   Even with insurance, any big medical procedure has significant out-of-pocket costs involved.   For this surgery, the Senger’s will fly to Cleveland where Amy will be in ICU the first four days after surgery and will have a required, two week hospital stay in Cleveland after that.

The possibility of a few "clean-up procedures" for the next several months is highly likely, making more flights and more hospital and hotel stays over the next year a necessity.

If you feel so inclined, we would love your support.  But more than anything, we'd love you to follow along on this journey with us and see what God has in store!  Find Amy Senger on Facebook or search #AirForAmy
