Amy Sobie Cancer Treatment Fund
Donation protected
Amy Sobie has been diagnosed with an advanced stage ovarian cancer. On Friday, February 22nd she underwent an 8 hour surgery which included removal of a 13 pound tumor. It is expected that about four to six weeks after the surgery, Amy will begin chemo treatments for about 18 weeks.
For over twenty years, Amy has been an working in a pro-woman / pro-life ministry. Through her work with the Elliot Institute she has worked to help women struggling with grief and depression after their abortions and has promoted campaigns to create a more healing environment in our churches and cities for those who have struggle with past abortions.
Like with many small ministries, she is underpaid, earning less than $35,000 per year.
Worse, she doesn't have any company insurance. She pays for her own insurance out of pocket and has a very high deductible. She will be on the hook for at least $12,000 of her treatment, and more likely in the range of $20,000 in expenses.
Please join us in both praying for Amy and giving a gift to help her through this medical crisis.
