Stan and I (Anne) are proud parents to Amy Thomson, aka Amy Grindhouse. Our beautiful, creative, sparkly daughter brings so much joy, love, and support to so many people. She is always there to listen, to remind others of their own beauty and strength and to find the humour in the absurdities of life. We are so thrilled to watch her as she builds a powerful, creative, authentic life as a performing artist. We are reaching out to you, her chosen family and friends, to help support her as she pursues some key, gender-affirming treatments. Procedures like facial feminization surgery require a significant amount of recovery time, which makes performing really challenging while she heals. Some procedures are out of pocket, some are covered through government programs, but all will result in lost income. With your help, Amy can continue her transition into the amazing young women she was always meant to be.
