Honoring Amy Zhou: Help Us Celebrate Her Legacy

Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,

With profound sadness, I share the heartbreaking news of the passing of my beloved wife, Amy Zhou. Her departure has left an indescribable void in our lives. Amy was an extraordinary woman whose love, strength, and kindness touched everyone she met. She was a devoted wife, an amazing mother to our daughter Kayleigh, and a cherished friend to many.

On January 2023, Amy was diagnosed with ovarian cancer stage 3. Despite her incredible strength and courage in fighting this illness, the battle was incredibly tough. Throughout her journey, she faced each challenge with grace and an unwavering spirit. She stayed strong under surgery, excessive amounts of chemotherapy treatments, clinical trial drugs. Her bravery was an inspiration to us all, and her memory will forever be a testament to her resilience and love.

We had waited for four and a half years to finally get married this year, a moment that was meant to symbolize our enduring commitment and love. Though our time together was shorter than we had hoped, it was filled with deep affection and unforgettable memories.

As we cope with this immense loss, we are also facing unexpected financial burdens related to her memorial and other expenses. In honor of Amy and the legacy she leaves behind, we have set up this GoFundMe page to help cover these costs. Our goal is to raise as much as possible, and any support you can provide will be deeply appreciated.

If you are considering making any donations, please consider e-transferring to email (Won't let me put my email but you can still donate here). Those that have my contact info you can msg me to help us avoid fees associated with online fundraising platforms.

Amy’s legacy is one of boundless love, inspiration, and courage. She dedicated herself to our family, creating beautiful memories and leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. Your contributions will not only help us manage the financial strain during this difficult time but also allow us to celebrate her remarkable life and the values she cherished.

Our daughter and I are profoundly grateful for your support and compassion. Your generosity will help us honor Amy’s memory and ensure that her legacy continues to inspire and uplift those she loved.

Further details regarding Amy's celebration of life (Service) will be shared shortly once confirmed. Sat, Aug 31, 2024 - Bayview Glen Church (Bayview/Steeles). Please check back early next week for finalized details.

Thank you for your kindness, your love, and your support.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Jay & Kayleigh Au
