Amy's HYROX for Macmillan Cancer Support

I have signed up to complete the Birmingham HYROX event this October for Macmillan cancer support.

HYROX is a global fitness race, combining a 1km run followed by a functional fitness station, repeated 8 times.

The fitness stations included are: 

- 1000m ski erg 

- 50m 102kg sled push 

- 50m 72kg sled pull 

- 80m burpee broad jumps 

- 1000m row 

- 200m 32kg farmers carry

- 100m 10kg lunges 

- 75 4kg wall balls

This event is something out of my comfort zone, but I’m very excited to put in the work and complete it. 

Macmillan are an organisation that provide emotional, physical and financial aid to individuals and families impacted by cancer. 98% of their funds come from donations from generous members of the public like yourselves.

Unfortunately this disease is something that affects most of us in many different ways. It's something that my family have been impacted by over the past few years and I'd be very appreciative of anything you can donate to support this amazing organisation.
