THIS LOVING HEART NEEDS OPEN HEART SURGERY...
2 years ago I was in a car accident with my best friend of over 20 years, thankfully we were both safe, however, through medical tests done to ensure we were well, she found out that she has a rare heriditary heart condition called Familial Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. A heart condition that is so rare and shows little signs before it can be diagnosed and/or take your life. Luckily, thanks to our medical system, she is being directed by some of the best professionals with experience in this condition. She will require open heart surgery later this year.

Since as long as Amy has been old enough to work, she's spent all of her time helping those in need. From her first position in a seniors retirement home/psychiatric wellness facility, to her full time career in caring for individuals with disabilities, and her numerous volunteer activities and countless donations, and charitable collections. Her kind heart has never stopped to help someone in need.
I, personally, could not even imagine my life without her. She is my rock, my best friend, and my sister. She's rational when I am irrational, and always there when I need her the most. She's honest, hardworking, dedicated, and passionate. She is the template of anything you could ever want in a best friend and a confidant.
Amy is one of the strongest woman I know and this why we all know she will be tough enough to successfully heal from this surgery.
As an independent woman on her own, she has many living expenses to take care of while on her time off to heal and take care of herself. The last thing she needs to worry about is money. I am starting this Go Fund Me account to help her offset these costs and help her to purchase a recliner for her recovery.
PLEASE DO NOT SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITH AMY as she will not accept anything from anyone as this is just the person she is. Also, please do not contact her with your concerns/well wishes as she does not want anyone to worry about her and is a very private person when it comes to her own needs.
Do not hesitate to contact me directly if you have any questions about Amy or her condition/upcoming surgery.
ANY AMOUNT COUNTS! Her mother (Monique Eveley) and I (Melissa Jane Veinotte) are more than greatful to any contributions to make this ride a bit smoother for her.
LET'S GIVE SOME LOVE BACK TO SOMEONE WHO'S GIVEN SO MUCH IN THE PAST AND WHO WILL CONTINUE TO GIVE BACK IN THE FUTURE.
XOXO
Melissa Jane Veinotte
***UPDATE: YAY WE'VE MET OUR GOAL FOR HER NEW RECLINER! THANK YOU TO EVERY KIND WORD AND DONATION THIS FAR! However I've also found out that she will only be making up to 55% of her earnings. This will be very difficult for her on her own with a mortgage, condo fees, and utility bills so I am raising the goal to $7000. The estimated healing time for this surgery could be 3-9 months!!! Amy is very money conscious and has always supported herself, the worst thing for her during healing is to be stressing about money.
