Amys Wish

On the 16th December Amy was rushed to hospital with no feeling in her left leg, which they thought was all linked to the pain she has been suffering in her shoulders, Amy has been back and forward to the doctors since February 2016 as she had been in agony for a long time but was given no answers as to why, despite all of this she carried on working as the manager of the Muddy Cup café in Norwich as well as juggling family life and her 2 daughters.
On the 20th December 2016 Amy was given the devastating news that she has Lung cancer, spinal cancer and cancer of the shoulder which had been missed previously.
she then underwent a 10 hour surgical procedure to remove a tumor which had crushed 3 vertebrae in her spine, the also inserted 2 metal rods along her spine to support her spinal cord to which she now has limited mobility.
Amy and Gaz have been together for 10 Years and are one of the most kindest, caring, fun loving, down to earth couple you would ever meet.
Amy is the type of girl who would give her last pound to someone else if it would help them, a kind caring and selfless individual.
There is only 1 wish Amy has ever had, and that is to marry her best friend and Soul mate Gaz.
Growing up we all dream of the day we will walk down the isle, the perfect wedding dress, the car, the venue, and having a whole day that is all about you and that is no different for Amy.
We all know how expensive weddings can be so we would like to take that pressure away and make there dream come true with your help.
We are hoping to arrange there big day early February 2017 (2nd or the 9th) dependant on the notice of marriage.
We will be contacting local companies in the next few days to ask for donations of there service and time to help us create the princess wedding Amy has always dreamed of since she was a child.
Any funds raised over and above what is needed for there big day will be used for the family to create lasting memories, days out etc. and to also help towards easing any financial burden for Gaz and there 2 daughters Tian and Lexi in the future.
Its a big ask just before Christmas but we are against the clock as february isnt far away there is alot to plan and as we all know cancer Waits for no one.
So from the bottom of our hearts please help us show amy there is alway a rainbow after the storm and be the reason someone believes in the goodness of people and help make there dreams come true.
All donations big or small will be gratefully received.
