Sorana is a 15-year-old teenager from Timisoara, Romania, a bright and lively girl with big dreams and a smile that warms your heart. Until recently, she spent her days enjoying time with friends, studying for school, and dreaming of a future full of possibilities. This summer, Sorana excitedly went on a school trip, creating beautiful memories with her classmates. However, upon returning home, her life took an unexpected turn. The diagnosis of a very rare type of leukemia (chronic myeloid leukemia) came suddenly, striking her family and loved ones like lightning.

Sorana is not just an ordinary teenager. She is a rare kind of child, a truly special and kind-hearted girl who touches everyone with her gentle and generous spirit. You may find it hard to believe, but Sorana is an exceptional soul, just like her twin brother, Robert, who is eagerly waiting for her at home. Robert dreams of the day when they can resume their normal lives, enjoying the beautiful moments that every teenager deserves.

Now, instead of preparing for high school and enjoying her teenage years, Sorana spends her days in the hospital, undergoing aggressive treatment. Chemotherapy and medical procedures are tough, but Sorana hasn’t lost hope. She is a fighter, determined to beat the illness and return to her normal life, alongside her brother and everyone who loves her.

Unfortunately, the treatment Sorana needs is extremely expensive, and she needs to travel from home to Italy where is a specialized Clinic that treats her rare type of Leukemia. Her family is doing everything they can to cover the medical costs, but resources are limited, and the expenses are growing every day.
