An Ethiopian Family Survive Severe Hardship

My name is DeKema Flowers. My 8-year-old daughter and I initiated this Go Fund Me in effort to help an Ethiopian family in urgent need of financial help. Living in Ethiopia is often very difficult. Jobs, resources, aid, healthcare, education and even food is scarce-to-none for many of the Ethiopians. This very loving family of 5, the Alemeyhu family, is struggling to survive,.. struggling with normal human needs such as food and shelter. Many days, they do not know where or how they will get food to eat. For this reason, we are asking for help. Help us improve the lives of these children, this family, one donation at a time, one caring moment at a time.

With your help, this family will be able to secure food, shelter, schooling for the children, and a good start at better living conditions.

The father works very hard in any way he can when there is ever an opportunity to do so. But ends often just don't meet for many people in Ethiopia. They need help.

The Sweet Love of the Alemeyhu's

Imagine meeting a family that has almost nothing and yet, they share whatever they do have with You. This is the Alemeyhu's. This is what happened in 2018 when we visited Ethiopia. When we met the Alemeyhu family, it was immediately apparent that they were struggling with poverty and even hunger. Yet, they took my then 4-year-old daughter and I in like family. Shared their humble home quarters with us and welcomed us to Ethiopia with love and kindness. The Alemeyhu's love wraps around people like cozy blankets. They will be the best possible people to meet and spend time with if and when you decide to visit Ethiopia in this lifetime.
