An Unfortunate Mishap
Donation protected
On Friday April 20 ,2018, we were told by mom’s surgeon that mom needs further surgery, this time on her right shoulder. Mom will be operated on Thursday April 26, 2018. This is all due to the accident that occurred last year. Mom hasn’t returned to work yet. Following this surgery in a few weeks she will have further surgery hopefully the last. Mom goes to Physical Therapy a few times a week to get stronger. Mom is always laughing despite her pain. Please help if you can, thank you Here is the story of what happen last year: My name is Shannon and my brother is Bobo, we would like you to donate to help mom out with the bills some are medical that have piled up). An unfortunate mishap occured the morning of March 15, 2017. After the recent snowstorm, ice remained on the sidewalks in the early morning and our mom slipped and was unable to get up on her own. Arriving to the site of the incident I could easily noticed her elbow was abnormally swollen. She also complained about pain in her leg. Upon arriving to the ER and after the examination we were delivered with the news that she had a fractured hip and would need a replacement along with plates and pins put into her elbow. In this time of need we would like to ask our friends and family if they could please make any sort of contribution as bills will put a toll on our household. Because of this incident she will be out of work for awhile. My mother, Aurora is one of the most humble people in this world and does everything in her power to help others every chance she gets. Let's show her the same gratitude and love in this time of need. I have helped as much as I could and will continue but I am only a 21 year old with a job as a server in a local restaurant while studying. Unfortunately the mishaps of life can be cruel but we keep our heads held high knowing we have a great support system and speedy recovery to look forward to. Thank you! Just recently we found out that mom needs further surgery on her right arm & has to schedule surgery on December 6, 2017. Mom is right handed so this is a big set back but mom never stops smiling and making us feel better. It’s the holidays let’s cheer mom up so she doesn't have to worry . Thank you and Happy Holidays. Update: Sister is studying on broad and working as an au pair and tries to send home what she can every two weeks when she gets paid. Again thanks.
