A Safe Vehicle For Corey
Donation protected
Hey there, my name is Dylan. I’m in a little bit of a bind with my wife’s car.
Corey has had this vehicle for coming close to 10 years. She loves this trailblazer, and would do anything to keep it. But, we’ve had nothing but problems with it for the past few years, and I'm trying everything I can to make sure that we can try to get her something else that’s reliable. We have made multiple hundred-thousand dollar repairs, one rebuilding the motor was hard enough.
I’m asking for a little bit of help. We moved to Kentucky to restart our lives together. She chose to go back to school to get her degree in nutrition, to give back to the community to help people as much as she can. We have been married for coming up on 6 years this October, but 13 years together. She is nothing but a blessing to everyone that has had the chance to meet her, and I’m hoping that could help me out with getting her something reliable to finish school. She is currently enrolled in Morehead University, and she is an unbelievable cheerleader at the university. She is doing fantastic with her grades, and being a team player when it comes to community service, and helping her team. My birthday is coming up (March 1st), and there is nothing I want more then for my birthday present to be able to see my wife in a vehicle that doesn’t make me worry every single night. That vehicle she has right now, unfortunately her power steering went out, I was going to replace the belt on it, but her dashboard already looks almost like a Christmas tree with how many lights are on it. There is so many other problems with that vehicle than just the power steering. The reason I decided to pull the trigger on this is because I’m the only one that’s able to work right now. I make enough to cover our expenses for the place we live, and our necessities. She does have a job at a local bar in Morehead, but with her in full time school, her in one of the best cheer teams in the country, and being a bartender in a small town is causing her to be doing around 70 hours a week, at a minimum. It’s hard for her to have time to make any type of money and just gets by in hopes that her car won’t give out on her. We have a minimum of 4 years here in Morehead and I know for a fact that car won’t last that long. So I’m here to see if I can change that. I’m using every penny I get from our taxes to push to get something for her, but any amount will gladly help us. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, if you would, I would greatly appreciate to NOT let her know that I’m doing this because she is as bad as asking for help as I am. I always think I can do anything and everything on my own, but I’ve come to the realization that I can’t put my own ego first when all I want is to make sure that my wife is safe. So, with that being said, and again, thank you for taking the time to read this. Any amount will push us even closer to getting her something safe.
