In Memory of Amanda Haydock-Wright
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
Many of you will have heard the devastating news that our treasured friend Amanda passed away on the 9th of February whilst under the care of a psychiatric hospital. She had recently become a mother to her beautiful daughter Wren and was likely experiencing undiagnosed post partum depression and tragically took her own life. We are all heart broken.
I am creating this fundraiser to help towards funeral costs. As you can imagine this unexpected news has been earth shattering to her wonderful wife Jen who will be putting all her love and energy into looking after Wren. I know that money cannot take away the pain of this awful situation but it will help to reduce the financial pressures that come with planning a funeral for someone gone too soon.
The funeral director has quoted a cost of £7000.
I am therefore asking that instead of flowers, if you are able to, please make a donation to this cause. Any contribution will be gratefully received. We would like to be able to make this a truly special day and celebrate our shining star of a friend in a way that we know she would enjoy.
Amanda really was one of a kind and she worked so hard to both overcome her own difficulties as well as supporting others around her. Amanda was proud to be autistic and she used her own experiences to set up Spectrum Connection, supporting families to communicate effectively and compassionately with their autistic children. She had so much love to give and was loved by so many.
