Our friend, colleague, and valued member of the community was struck down with a crippling disease three months ago and had been in hospital every since, receiving treatment and dialysis.

After three years of rebuilding her life, she was finally getting back on her feet when she was cruelly hit once again with this brutal disease.

She has not been able to work, pay rent, and the minimal social security barely pays for food. She finally left hospital Thursday August 8th and needs to continue dialysis indefinitely three days a week. She doesn't know if she still has an apartment (she is staying with friends) having been unable to pay rent, and with few prospects in the short term of being able to work at all.

This fundraiser is to help our hard working, kind, conscientious and always smiling friend to find her feet again, rebuild her life and recover from this awful illness while she continues treatment.

Nossa amiga, colega e valiosa membro da comunidade foi aapanhada por uma doença incapacitante há três meses e esteve no hospital desde então, recebendo tratamentos e diálises.

Depois de três anos reconstruindo sua vida, ela finalmente estava se recuperando quando foi cruelmente atingida mais uma vez por esta doença brutal.

Ela não tem conseguido trabalhar, pagar aluguel e a seguranca social mínima mal paga a comida. Ela finalmente saiu do hospital quinta-feira dia 8 de agosto e precisa continuar a diálise indefinidamente três dias por semana. Não sabe se ainda tem apartamento (está em casa de amigos) por não conseguir pagar a renda, e com poucas perspectivas - a curto prazo - de poder trabalhar.

Esta angariação de fundos é para ajudar a nossa amiga trabalhadora, gentil, conscienciosa e sempre sorridente a sobrevivir enquanto recuperar, reconstruir a sua vida mais uma vez e continuar o tratamentos.
