As you may know Ana Salmeron passed away on 5/28/2020 of Stage 4 Renal Cell Carcinoma. Ana had a long fight. Ten years ago she found out she had  Renal Cell Carcinoma. She was treated only to find she had  Stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma 3 months later . After 3 years she was cleared of Cancer and was in remission for the next 4 years.

Ana Delmy Salmeron was a funny, kind hearted & thoughtful person. A hardworking single mother. She thrived to make a better life for herself and daughter. She helped anyone in need. Providing even shelter to those when needed. Family was priority for her. She would always say her Grandchildren were her medicine to live. She was very religious. Attending Mass every Sunday.

A verse she loved: 1 Corintios 13:4-7

Translation: 1 Corinthians 13:4-7: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

Unfortunately, in 2017 her cancer returned. Her cancer had spread from her kidney to her lungs, liver & pancreas. Her cancer returned much more severe. At stage 4 she under went  various treatments to fight this battle against cancer for a third time. Ana, never gave up. She continued to live her life while battling cancer.

In November of 2019, Ana had a seizure which lasted for 15 minutes.  She was admitted into the hospital. After many test,  fluid and tumors were found the cancer had spread to her brain.
December of 2019, Doctors found blood clots in her lung, which caused pulmonary embolisms. Seizure medications caused Ana to have high sugar. Ana's sugar reached 850. She was hospitalized again.

Cancer, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Nerve Damage, Seizures & Blood Clots.

By Mother's Day of 2020 Ana was taken to the hospital for what we assumed  was a simple infection. Doctors explained that Ana was septic. She underwent various surgeries. Ana, underwent all these procedures alone. Due to the Pandemic no one was allowed to be with her or visit. She fought her last battles against this disease alone. Only to hear our voices occasionally by phone and video call.

On May 28th, 2020, the family received word that we could speak to her for 15 minutes. Her daughter, husband, step-daughter & son-in-law were at her beside. Ana held on long enough for us to arrive to spend our last moments with her. Not long after our departure Ana's heart peacefully stopped. She kept her promise to her daughter. She would not depart until Delmy had the chance to say Good Bye. A promise kept.

Ana, we love you. You will always be with us in our hearts. You meant so much to to many.

We now ask from the bottom of our hearts that you help us to give Ana the funeral she wanted and deserves. We ask for any help you can provide. Due to the Pandemic we are trying to arrange this in a timely manner to lay Ana to her final resting place.
