Anaheim Plaza Fire
Tax deductible
Early Sunday morning of December 11, 2022, small businesses in the Anaheim plaza had a devastating fire that burned their businesses down to the bare frames of the building. The small businesses affected by the fire include:
- Chinese King BBQ
- Subway
- Van Thuan Phat Retail
- Golden Spa Foot Massage
- Yang Family Dentistry
- Long Beach Primary Care Associates
- Mimi's Hair Salon
- Spectrum Pharmacy
- Viet Long Income Tax & Professionals
All are minority-owned small businesses that have served the community for over 5 years. These businesses were also affected by the pandemic.
Cambodia Town Thrives and community partners are raising funds to support the small businesses directly as they recover from this loss during the holidays. Partners include:
- United Cambodian Community (UCC)
- City Fabrick
- Walk Long Beach
- Long Beach Forward
- AOC7
- TCC Family Health
- Cambodia Town, Inc
- Midtown Business Improvement District
- Black Agency
- The MAYE Center
- Families in Good Health
All proceeds donated will be equally divided among participating businesses. These funds will support the small business owners and not the property owners or developers.
UCC and the City of Long Beach Economic Development Department are working directly with small business owners by connecting them to relocation, access to capital, and other resources. We are learning new information and will update as we learn more on this site.
UCC is serving as the fiscal agency and will distribute funds directly to businesses. All donations are tax deductible and you will receive a donation receipt from UCC. UCC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the Federal Tax ID #95-3442295. For more information, please contact us and read more at LB Post Article
