Baby Anaika's Hospital Fund
Donation protected
Hello friends,
As many of you may know, this summer I spent a couple of months in the Domincan Republic as a volunteer. What some of you may not know is that I stayed with an incredible family that took me in as their own for TWO months. They taught me to cook, to drive, to eat in true Dominican style. Dani and his wife Raquel were expecting a daughter, Anaika, who was born just a few months ago. Unfortunately, she has come into this world struggling, in need of a lot of medical help. As of last week, she was diagnosed with neonatal sepsis, a bacteria infection that's tricky to treat. Amongst other problems, she has trouble breathing, diarrhea, fever, potential seizures, problems with her white blood cell count, and the list goes on...
PLEASE, please consider donating, even if it's just a little bit. Truly, Dani didn't even want me to start a campaign, but if medical bills are expensive in the U.S., in the DR they are even more burdensome.
These are incredible people, PEOPLE, just like you and me, who are in need of a boost to help their daughter.
Anything you can consider donating would be one less weight on their shoulders, and a huge blessing for Anaika as she will receive treatment.
Thank you for your help <3
