Support Anca’s Healing Journey

Our dear friend Anca Dan — dedicated single mother, lifelong volunteer, visionary entrepreneur, and stellar human — is on the cusp of a literal battle for her Life.

Recently diagnosed with cancer, Anca is embarking on a healing journey that requires laser focus. Whilst in-progress tests will determine her exact prognosis and protocols, there’s no doubt that her treatments will need to take over. Eye of the tiger, guns blazing, the requirement to focus on healing … only that will enable her success and future.

We’ve watched in awe the many ways that Anca hustles to financially support her son, LL. Although commendable, the ongoing efforts are exhausting and impossible right now.

On top of typical living expenses, Anca will also have to pay for pre and post-treatment prescriptions and other remedies that aren't covered by Alberta Health.

As such, I’m asking for your help. No contribution is too small, and every dollar you donate will go towards:

I’m sure many of us have benefited from Anca’s kindness and helpful spirit over the years. Now, I ask that we do what we can for her. Anca has no family in Canada and has limited local support, apart from her close friends. Aside from money, I ask those of you in Calgary to consider offering your assistance. Whether it’s getting groceries, preparing food, helping with LL’s needs, driving to appointments, cleaning the house, or mowing the lawn — uber independent Anca won’t be able to continue doing these things by herself.
