…… And it came back 

Whoever thought cancer could come back through trauma? On the 26th May 2023, I stopped at the traffic lights with my breaks on and a guy smashed into the back of my car because he thought the lights were turning green. What I didn’t know is, how badly my body was effected from the the impact. Neither did I know unsettled body cells can bring back cancer so quickly. 

The results from the car crash were, my car was dented at the back and his car was fine, but the next day his radiator blew up, so what trauma did my body endure?…

After extensive tests including X-rays, MRIs and ultrasounds, it revealed I had 3 stomach hernias and 4 bulging discs. So whilst I was focusing on trying to heal a hernia and stomach ulcers from ibuprofen overuse, I stopped my cancer healing protocols. Slowly the cancer crept back in as the cells were disrupted from the impact. 

Moving forward to September and after even more tests including MRI, PET and CT scans, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and 20 litres of Ascities drained from my abdomen. I realise I underestimated how quickly cancer could creep back, so please everyone, always look after your health.

I’ve had so much love and support from everyone and people keep asking how they can help. Right now, I’m focusing on my healing journey and if you would like to be part of this recovery, please stay positive, don’t cry but pray for me.

Heavenly Father in Jesus name (or your God), I pray that Chadissa is restored to 110% health with the blood of Jesus.

Amen. 

While I navigate through this healing process, I’ve taken the rest of the year off to focus on restoring my health and working out a treatment plan that is right for me. I’ve made my decision on how I’d like to handle my treatment going forward, so please respect my decision

I’ve written this message as I’ve had so many wonderful friends and family who have asked. Thank you all very very much, I’m looking forward to a celebration party and letting you all know how I overcame stage 4 cancer in my second book.

Chadissa's warm and friendly personality is so infectious and people naturally gravitate to her. If you have a problem she is the one you can talk to because she listens to you and gives you great honest advice. She is an inspiration to so many people. She is Beautiful on the inside and outside and so kind and generous. I have seen her pay for strangers shopping at the supermarket, petrol, meals, and even car fines just as people received them. She is Selfless who's always willing to help others before herself. She's always had a strong work ethic. She's always been so strong willed, so driven and very ambitious. She touches people with her strong energy she radiates from her inner being and brightens every room she walks into. She is truly one of God's Angels that walks amongst us.

To all of us a “chance” meeting with Chad means your life is so much richer and brighter and you have an incredible friend for LIFE!

She is always the first to step in to defend and uplift, offer help, organise crazy charity events for those in need and share her love and advice to those needing help.
She is the ultimate stretcher barer for those in experiencing hardship, but as we know even the stretcher barer needs to be able to get on the stretcher sometimes…even as uncomfortable as that can be, this giver also needs to be cared for. We know how much Chad has impacted your lives and so we want to give you the opportunity to impact hers.
As she recovers and rests (and writes her second book!) would you sow into her world so that she does not have to have any financial burdens to add to an already stress filled situation?
