Anderson Center for Autism staff appreciation Day
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
I am one of many parents of children with special needs who require a year-round residential placement. Our kids attend the Anderson Center for Autism in Staatsburgh, NY. I want to acknowledge the incredible staff who dedicate their time to care for, support, and love our children every day. As a parent, I feel immense peace knowing my child is safe in their hands. Despite facing real-life trauma and challenging behaviors—like being hit, spat on, scratched, and more—these individuals continue to show up because of their genuine love for our kids.
We are deeply grateful for their dedication, but with the demands of visiting our children and other responsibilities, we rarely get to express our thanks as much as we would like. This year, we want to celebrate them during Staff Appreciation Week in September. We aim to make this a memorable experience and are asking for donations of any amount to help us serve and celebrate them.
On a personal note, I believe that where God guides, He provides. Every cent received will go directly towards showing our appreciation through food and celebrations. In facing life’s challenges, it becomes clear that we are here to support one another. There is no greater gift than to serve those who have served us. Let’s make this event a reflection of God's love and a testament to His light shining upon them.
Thank you for your support.
