For the Month of June:
Help Us Send One of Our Own to the World Police and Fire Games!
This July, Anderson Firefighters are proud to support one of our own, Greg Cravens, as he represents our department, our union, and our community on the world stage at the World Police and Fire Games. He’ll be competing in one of the most grueling events—the triathlon—putting his training, determination, and firefighter grit to the test against public safety athletes from across the globe.
We’re raising funds to help cover travel, lodging, and registration costs so he can focus totally on the games! Any contribution—large or small—will help send a powerful message that Local 1262 stands behind its members every step of the way.
Let’s come together to make this journey possible. Thank you for your support!
Supporting the Anderson Firefighter Charity and Scholarship Fund enables us to assist our own members, retirees, our families, and many other organizations in times of need. Firefighters are not immune to emergencies, illnesses, and injuries even though we respond to all of these to provide help, sometimes we can use assistance as well.
Anderson Firefighters, for the first time, will be awarding scholarships to our own children wishing to seek higher education. Portions of every donation will help us achieve our goal of awarding $500 scholarships to every qualifying dependent of a Local 1262 member each year of their college career up to 4 years.
Please consider a donation to our Charity and Scholarship Fund to ensure we can be there for our own and continue supporting the great community charitable causes we partner with every year.
