Anderson H.S. MAPS Classroom Graphing Calculators
Donation protected
The Anderson High School MAPS class (Methodologies for Academic & Personal Success) gives extra support to freshmen taking Algebra 1 at Anderson. The class is in need of TI-84 Graphing Calculators for their students. The largest class is 29 students and they currently only have 4 graphing calculators for class use. These calculators are truly game changers, especially for students who struggle in Algebra, by helping students get beyond their issues with arithmetic (especially math facts, fractions, and positive/negative numbers) and move on to more high-level math. The calculators are also very expensive, making them inaccessible to students who can't afford them. All students should have the tools they need to succeed! For all these reasons and more, we are calling on our community to come together to help buy a classroom set of graphing calculators for the AHS MAPS class. Time is of the essence as the calculators are currently on sale on Amazon for $100 each instead of $150! We don't know how long the sale will last, so please consider donating today if you are able. Every little bit helps and every dollar is appreciated. Thank you so much!!
The funds raised will be used to buy 25 TI-84 calculators, a charger, and cover fees.
