Andra's Feminization Surgery Angel Fund

My name is Andra Nadirshah— I am a performer, musician, and sculptor living in Amsterdam.

I am trans womxn living with c-PTSD. 

I am seeking out facial feminization surgery currently— my medical consultations so far have put the total cost of this surgery at $30,000.

I hope to pay for part of that cost with GoFundMe and the other half through other fundraisers and myself. The funds will be used to pay for the surgery, travel, and some of the recovery process. I plan to have this surgery in August of 2021. 

This is a necessary and life-saving procedure.

The alternative, which is what I have coped with before now, is intense emotional turmoil from feeling like my outside does not match my inside. I have, from a young age, never felt at home within my skin. Finally, a year and a half ago, I began hormone replacement therapies to begin the process of finally addressing this in my life. However, until I receive this surgery, I do not feel like I can get on with everything I want to do and be in this world. IT IS URGENT.

The weight of having a face not your own is immense.

My facial feminization surgery is a set of procedures to help modify my face into what it was always meant to be. This will be done in three parts— brow bone reduction, nose reduction, and chin re-shaping. Together, this will make my face achieve a more desired “feminine” look.

Due to lack of full coverage for this surgery by insurance companies and poor economic opportunity especially during current times I am asking for whatever you can donate here. I also have a condition called c-PTSD. This significantly reduces my ability to have continual employment and accomplish daily tasks.
