Andre on his Medical Journey

In January 2024, my husband, Andre, underwent a major surgery on his C-4 and C-5 spine. The procedure was critical as it had the potential to leave him paralyzed. Fortunately, he made it through, but the road to recovery has been more complex than we anticipated.

Recently, Andre experienced a minor stroke and was diagnosed with a right eye aneurysm, adding another layer of complexity to his health journey. These unexpected challenges have left him unable to work, and I, Yolanda, am also unable to return to work at the moment to care for him and manage our family's needs.

As if these hurdles weren't enough, Andre is now facing the prospect of a lifelong spine injury, which will require ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and adjustments to our daily lives.
