9 Car Pile-up Challenges Andrea Baughn & Family
Donation protected
Andrea Baughn was in an awful car accident 12/14/20 involving nine cars. The family is so grateful that it appears she will be okay, but there are many painful moments and tough challenges ahead. In addition to a concussion and lost teeth, she broke her jaw, nose, eye socket and has other unclarified injuries. Reconstructive surgery and other intensive medical procedures are certain.
Less than two weeks from Christmas and instead of this lovely woman spending time with her two children (7 yo & 12 yo) and recently married husband (my awesome brother, Frankie), she is in a hospital bed trying to cope with the reality of this accident. Even worse, with visitation restrictions due to COVID. Andrea was enjoying the wonderful celebration of her marriage last week with tons of smiles. Now she will be burdened by the acute pain and uncertainties of her very limited medical insurance coverage, how to replace their family vehicle, and loss of wages for the long recovery ahead.
Interested in expressing your support for this young mother and family? Please consider taking a moment for a prayer and/or making a donation to help alleviate the tremendous strain that this newlywed couple will experience. They will, no doubt, grow stronger when feeling the support of others. All donations will go to Andrea and Frankie to pay for uncovered medical procedures, co-pays, deductibles, housing, and other basic necessities. Andrea and Frankie had been planning to work another week before finishing their Christmas preparations; now the priorities have drastically changed.
