Hello Friends. I just started a GoFundMe campaign to help my dear friend, AndreaHarmon with her fight against MS. To date there is no cure for MS. Andrea was diagnosed with this debilitating disease about 10 years ago and she has been steadfast in trying any and all treatments available in the United States. She has progressed to Stage 2 and her decline has been fast and furious. There are no further options (in the US).
Andrea has been looking into Stem Cell Therapy and the research is showing some amazing results - IT IS GIVING HER HOPE. Unfortunately, this therapy is not yet approved in the US and thus, we are trying to get her to Panama. Andrea has submitted her current diagnosis to the team in Panama and she has been accepted for treatment at the Stem Cell Institute. One treatment costs $25,000 US dollars (not including travel). Obviously, medical insurance will not cover any of this. She is hoping to schedule her trip to Panama ASAP.
As I said, there is no cure for MS but with this treatment there is hope for improvement that will give Andrea a BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE.
