Andrea Vaughan

On 7th June 2023 my dear friend Andrea's son Luke, who just turned 18 was diagnosed with Nut Carcinoma, an extremely rare aggressive cancer. Luke has already undergone a 12 hour surgery to remove the tumour, to attach 2 nerve grafts and a full skin graft. Luke will need intensive chemotherapy and radiation as well as the possibility of more surgery. Because it is such an extremely rare cancer the treatment plan may change.

Luke has had to give up his job and his football which he has dedicated many years of training to and loves so he can go through all the intensive treatment. He has a long road ahead, with many hospital trips and lengthy chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Andrea and her family will be there every step of the way to nurse and support Luke as he navigates through this cancer journey.

Any donations will help Andrea and her family cover the cost of petrol, Hospital parking, medication and other expenses. Andrea's income may drastically be reduced while she takes time off to care for Luke during his treatment.
