Andreas Giannitsopoulos- Surfside Bldg. Collapse

This GoFundMe has been created on behalf of the Giannitsopoulos family in response to the overwhelming outpour of love and support during this difficult time.

Andreas Giannitsopoulos, from Houston, Texas, was visiting his father's best friend, Manny Lafont, and staying at the Champlain Towers South Tower at the time of the building collapse on June 24, 2021.

He was an incoming senior, studying Economics at Vanderbilt University. Andreas was known as a decathlon student athlete at St. Thomas, whose family and friends describe him as the ideal St. Thomas man representing Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge. Andreas is an old soul who impacts every heart. To know Andreas is to love Andreas.

The fund will go directly to the Giannitsopoulos family to help alleviate any needs and financial concerns and support them as much as possible during this difficult time.
