Andreas Giannitsopoulos - Surfside Condo Collapse

My name is Tina Edwards and I am from Houston, Texas and organizing this fundraiser along with Paula Young, Carrie Jowell, Ann Rand and Rebekah Hobart on behalf of our friends, Fatima "Tina" Giannitsopoulos (Mother) and Patty Miller (Aunt). 

Andreas Giannitsopoulos, age 21 and from Houston, Texas, was among those tragically killed in the Champlain Towers Condominium collapse of June 24, 2021.  Andreas graduated from St. Thomas High School in Houston, where he was an avid decathlon member of the track and field team.  After High School, Andreas attended Baylor University, then later transferred to Vanderbilt University.  At the time of his death,  Andreas was looking forward to completing his Senior year, studying Business Strategy and International Markets. After graduating next year from the Nashville college, Andreas planned to use his degree to pursue a career in real estate and to help take care of his family.
Andreas was known by all of his friends and family as a strong, kind, and ambitious young man. He was a man of faith, a great athlete and an outstanding friend.  Andreas kept his love of athletics beyond high school and always found time to work out - he was a great competitor. 

He believed every day was a gift.  Described by his mother, Tina, as "the strongest person I know and the best part of my day"
The GoFundMe has been established to help with expenses incurred while awaiting discovery in Miami, associated funeral expenses and transport back home to Houston.  All funds will go directly to Tina Giannitsopoulos and family.
